I’m really looking forward to Wes Anderson’s new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. It is said to be a period piece with an ensemble cast. I wonder if his new film will be similar to his previous films or if he has moved into a whole new direction. I love his recognizable style and the way his films ebb and flow between melancholy and joy, sincerity and irony, disaffection and optimism. Therefore, I wouldn’t mind if The Grand Budapest Hotel turns out to be very much like his other movies.
